I'm in desperate need of lettering templates for a baby shower cake. I say some under the template gallery but I'm looking for something really cutesy and large. It has to fit on the side of a 3" high round...spelling out BABY. If anyone has anything please pm me and I will give my email address.
Thanks all.
And keep up the great work on your cakes!

I am not sure if this will help but when I need letters I just go into microsoft word and play arond with the font until I find something I like.
I hope this helps

and in Word or MS Publisher -- use the WORD ART feature to be able to do all kinds of transformations of the lettering

(and I prefer to use MS Publisher for the even greater control I can get on layout -- much easier than Word)

and there are TONS and TONS of free fonts available on the internet

------

WARNING -- doing this could lead to a Font addiction!!!

take it from one who has over 1,000 fonts on his system! icon_rolleyes.gif

Also, since it will be on the side of the cake, I find that the alphabet cookie cutters are excellent for this - just press gently into the side of the crusted cake (no worrying about holding the template with one hand and pin pricking or whatever). If you don't have the cutters, the computer font is definitely a great option.
