Hi cc,

I have a friend who is opening a beauty parlor and would like for me to create "something fantastic". I really need someone to brain storm with me on this one. Any ideas?????

I think tiers with different beauty store items (scissors, a wig, hair spray, curling iron, brush, hair clips, bobby pins, etc. made of gum paste of coarse) popping off it every which way would be great especially accompanied by bright colors on the cake itself. The topper could be the shop's logo. Might even add a "Grand Opening" swag to it as well.

remember the dolls that were around in the 80's that were just a head and shoulders on a base. they came with makup and you could do their hair.

that would be so neat! hopefully you remember the toy i am talking about!

How about a styling station with chair, fondant styling tools, styling products..... I own a salon myself and think that would be awesome to see!
