I need ideas for my son's 11th birthday cake. Last year I did a cupcake tree with a football theme. I wanted to do something a little different, maybe a tiered (2 tiers probably). He likes baseball, football, video games, hunting and fishing.

My original plan was to make a cake like his gamecube, but right now he has been on restriction from playing his games. I thought It would be mean to make him a cake like his gamecube, then he not be able to play the real thing!

So all of you people who plan these wonderfull cake, lend me your brains!!! I'm stumped.

I made a football cake for my son. I used a sheet pan to make a football field and then put the football shaped pan on top, then I piped grass for the borders. Sorry, I don't have a picture posted, I need to get to a scanner so I can show my cakes.
