I would love to have a large silpat mat for fondant/gumpaste but they are so expensive!

Does anyone have any idea where I could get a good deal on one?

Thanks!

I know a lot of kitchen supply stores sell knock off silpats for a little less money. I have them and they seem to be just as good.

I got my silicon mat at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It is a large one and I think it was around $38. Mine is a different brand, something french, but it works great!

I have never used one...but I bought some of that heavy plastic they use for table covering...the stuff that they sell by the yard in the fabric section at WalMart, and it works great.

karenscookies.com has one on sale right now, but I'm not sure what size it is.
