I have never tried to make Wilton's fondant. If your wanting to make fondant, make the marshmallow fondant (MMF). There are directions on this site, an entire tutorial on how to do it. Its easy and tastes a whole lot better than Wilton's. I am sorry you already started on the Wilton stuff but the MMF is soooooo much easier!!!

In the forums under candy/gumpaste, you can find lots of info about making marshmallow fondant(MMF). It's so easy to work with. I started by buying one package of wilton's just to play with it, then I made the MMF. Tastes soooo much better.

Good luck!
