Thanks for the link!
Does anyone know the shelf-life of chocolate transfer sheets?
(I thought the image was cocoa butter - seems like it'd spoil?)
Cheers,
-Jerry
They will keep indefinitely in the refrigerator. I've used them for years.
I always use melted chocolate chips with a tablespoon of shortening melted in....no issues.

if anyone is interested in buying chocolate transfers and they dont stock them in your country let me know and I might be able to help you out.
I started selling Chocolate Transfer Sheets about 5months ago when I was looking for them in Cape Town and no one seemed to have them and now when I started it suddenly everyone sold them (*weird) lol.
I post orders around my country so if you are willing to send a courier from your country to mine then I would gladly sell you some.
my email address is [email protected] (not sure if im allowed to sell things on CC??) but send me an email and I will send you the designs I have
Thanks so much for the link to the video, sounds great.
Has anyone tried or knows how to transfer the sheets directly onto fondant without the chocolate?
I heard that you can do this but don't know how.
You may already have got better information from Paul but I think it is possible to do the transfers onto fondant with a hairdryer - put the transfer sheet onto the fondant and heat up the back of the sheet (ie the smooth side) with a hairdryer until the sheet heats up and the design melts. I think you then need to leave it on the fondant until it is set and then peel off the backing like you would with chocolate. I haven't done it myself but they explained how to do it at the cake show I went to in the NEC.
Thanks for this link.. I love cake .. I can apply your process in making this type of cake...
