I am making a 3-tiered carrot cake for my aunt's 50th jubilee as a nun. I was planning on icing it with cream cheese frosting. Got a brainstorm and thought "wouldn't it be really pretty with fondant?"

Well, can you flavor fondant to taste like cream cheese frosting and if so, how do I do it and what do I use?

TIA

Anna

Hi Anna, what about those capella drops to flavor it? I'm pretty sure they make a cheesecake flavor.

Lorann make a cheesecake flavored oil. It is my favorite flavoring for MMF. I always add some vanilla flavoring too.

For inexpensive larger quantities of flavorings:

You need to call to place the order, but the sales people are all very helpful and friendly.
