I only have 3 right now and bought one last night for my cake class Monday. Two months ago I had about 20. I love using cake mixes for fast cookies!! They are delicious. And a good way to use up mixes when I (gulp! sorry!) don't want cake. icon_sad.gif

That's so funny!!! my hubby said the same thing yesterday evening when he came home from work!! He was looking for a quick fix and he said: We just have cake in here, and it's not even cooked, so I can't eat some....

I have 20 chocolate mixes and 6 white cake mixes in my pantry, and around 72 chocolate mixes in my storage room. icon_surprised.gif Can you tell there was one big sale!!!

I just moved into a new house which doesn't have nearly the cabinet space of my old home. I usually buy 20 at a time but currently my stock is down to 4 in the cupboard and a tub of premixed batter in the freezer. I'll be at Walmart tonight to replenish my stash!

Have a storage cabinet dedicated to cake decorating supplies - 10 chocolate and 6 yellow and 4 white cake mixes on hand plus 25 instant puddings and the 10X & such. Just ran across a 10 for $10 at ACME (which is really cheap for them usually $2.29+ each) so had to stock up a little. Our WalMart and Target are $.98 each though if I remember about them whem I'm there.

And here I thought I was the only one that had cake mix taking up my whole pantry! Right now I have 10 boxes of chocolate (and that's minus the two I used last night, so it was 12!), 4 boxes of French Vanilla, 4 boxes of Strawberry, and 3 boxes of yellow (minus the 2 I used last night aswell, so it was 5!).

So...

Yesterday I had ... 25
Today I have... 21

Wow that's alot. And I'm not evening going to count the boxes of pudding... icon_razz.gif

Gosh. I can always drive less than 2 miles to the grocery store and get cake mix for $.89.

I keep waiting for a sale on powdered sugar, though. Haven't seen one in over a year.

I currently have 14 boxes. My question is "What brand does everyone buy?" I use Betty Crocker. Always moist and good flavor. Not the cheapest though. I try to stock up when it's on sale. The Walmart .88 cake, is it store brand?

I always have 5 boxes of white, 5 boxes of chocolate, 2 boxes of yellow. Right now, I have that plus a box of fudge margle and a funfetti. I also make sure to always have 10 lbs. of powdered sugar (5 bags) and 6-9 sticks of crisco for my icing!

Cake mixes at my local Walmart generally run between $.83 and $.88 for Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker. Store brand is even cheaper but I don't usually buy that kind.

Nope... the $.88 brand is Betty Crocker! The store brand is even cheaper, but I don't like it as much. I only use Betty Crocker!

I have 16 cake mixes (4 each of white, yellow, lemon and chocolate fudge) and 14 puddings. I need to get a few extra chocolate though......I have a special cabinet for my cake stuff too. I love being able to open it up and see exactly what I have on hand.
