I think I just added the butter to my IMBC too soon. It got real runny. It wasn't hot when I added it. Maybe a little warm. Can it be saved or should I start over?

Keep running it on high and see if it comes together,
meaning emulsify. It might surprise you.

I kept it on the KA for about 15 minutes in an ice bath and nothing happened. It was still runny. So, I started over, praying that I wouldn't get any yolk in my whites and did the recipe completely according to directions. Luckily, my family was all late, as usual, to the birthday party and I had plenty of time to finish the cake. I made Dede Wilson's Lemon Buttermilk Cake with White Chocolate IMBC icing. Everyone said it was fantastic and there were 3 votes for the best cake they've ever had - their new favorite. The recipe was in her Wedding Cake book. Go get it from the library and try it out! I had to buy the book there were so many recipes in tehre that I loved! Thanks for your help!
