I have a carrot cake to make covered in MMF. If I use cream cheese I will need to frig. I thought that if you put fondant in the frig it will become tacky and wet when you take it out. Will MMF do the same thing? I may have to go with BC instead of CC.

Thanks,

Sue

Carrot Cake & cream cheese frosting won't hold the MMF really well. It's a bit fragile & you may have some issues. If you put a box on top of it in the fridge & bring it out with the box still on top the condensation will form on the box, not the cake. I've done this before & not had any issues at all. It's the soft cake & frosting I'd be more concerned with.

I thought is was the cold of the cake coming to room temp that put the condinsation on the cake.
Thanks so much. I was leaning toward BC too.
