I have never made candy or cakes before - not like the ones here.

My cousin makes cakes and she told me about this website. She has been walking me through some steps over the internet (I live in California and she is in New England.)

I want to make a princess party for my daughter's FIRST birthday in July. My cousin gave me a great idea for making these crown lolipops - but I cannot find the molds anywhere.

Does anyone have a suggestion or even a site I can order from that is not too expensive?

I am 5 mo. pregnant, we have a 10 mo. old girl and a 6 year old step son... plus I am a stay-at-home mom... so money is an issue. icon_redface.gif

This is why I am trying to make all of these things myself. Honestly - I am having a great deal of fun trying stuff and learning. This may be my new favorite thing! icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the website. I made the order. I found the molds on ebay but they went up past 2.50 - and I didn't feel it was worth more then $5.00 (with shipping, etc).

The idea my cousin gave me is as follows:

I have a BUNCH of extra lollipops (the regular old fashioned kind) from my steps sons b-day party. I wanted, of course, to make use of them.

My cousin suggested that I make the crowns, then heat the lollipops just a bit and put them under the crowns (in place of just a stick). Then once they are dry I can put candy faces on the lollipops to make them look like little princesses.

I don't know if it makes sense - the way I have explained it... but IF it works it should be really cute. icon_razz.gif

I have been SO excited about all this stuff... I am dreaming about cakes, even!
