If you are in the Mid-South Area or in the Boston area, and willing to give a shot at teaching me how to pull sugar... I would be financially grateful.

(That's code for you getting paid a token sum of money.)

I was so crazy about learning sugar and I just went for it. I read and saw enough to know what to do. I am handy at bubbles and spirals and working up to ribbons now. Sorry I cannot help I'm far away from you. Good luck!

They there again.

Well that's me, too.

I figure my hands are burned enough. Now my fingerprints need attention. They'll go soon if I take up sugar pulling.

I want to make a swan. I'm going to post that I'll buy one... but I think that is against the rules of the board here...

So what was your first flower/figure which you attempted?

By the way, love reading your posts on the other boards... always encouraged.

Oh and yes, I emailed desertm about a couple of weeks ago. I offered to buy his swan. Alas... he is far on the otherside of the world.

But that swan is GORGEOUS.

sigh... I can aspire/dream.. can't I?

Yes red hands!! I have a whole box of rubber gloves on hand. I have been just palying with sugar so I just remelt it when I am done. I am considering buying the MAGYFLEUR DESIGN SYSTEM. You can make flowers by dipping.

Oh yes,

I have about 20 booksmarks on pulled sugar. Saw that one... nice site.

I just haven't jumped in yet.

I took sugar classes last summer at Wilton in Chicago. I did the intro and the advanced classes. I loved every minute and I highly recommend the instructor, Laurie Bradach--she's delightful and an excellent teacher.

Just to set the record straight: I am the proud *mother* of three, and proud *grandmother* of four beautiful grandchildren. Ergo, I am a *her* and not a *him* icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
