What type of cake can you use for making sculpted cakes? Besides a sponge cake. I tried making a Madeira sponge cake from scratch didn't taste that great. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
I doctor my mixes by adding a box of pudding and a cup of sour cream. You can add this to just about any recipe though and end up with a firmer cake that you can sculpt...no nuts or bits of stuff that will cause it to break though.
