one of the gals in our office was out with lung cancer but returning on Monday. any ideas for decorating a cute cake or welcome back? thanks.

Well, tell us a little more about her!

well she is an officer in bank in Cleveland OH....she is about 60 and lost her husband several years ago to cancer. she is a golfer, very religious and an infectous laugh. I just need something simple with good wishes but don't want to dwell on her condition. thanks everyone.

A simple cake with roses and a welcome back. If you want to get a little more into it do a golfing theme or for the religious a cross would be great.

How about something cheerful with spring flowers that says "Welcome Back".

anything that you make is going to be greatly apprieciated! People don't expect those kinds of things. How about "So glad your back! We missed you!" Then you can add some scroll work and roses around the cake!
