I am trying to make a fondant bow, my loops are breaking and are not no where stiff enough to hold their shape, what am i doing wrong? any help is greatly appreciated thank you!
Sounds like it's a little dry, why don't you try adding a tiny bit of shortening to make it a little more pliable. Best of luck.
after you make the loop, put something under it like a pc. of tissue or rolled paper towel or cotton balls to hold it's shape. than let it fry. at least two days.
There's a great tutorial about loop bowhttp://www.cakecentral.com/article17-How-to-Make-a-Fondant-Loop-Bow.htmls on here!
thank you for the help so quickly, I have let my loops dry for 2 and a half days with cotton balls in them to help them hold their shape, they were not dry feeling until i started trying to assemble the bow, is there any other way to get the fondadnt to dry harder? once again thank you for the help!
