Gum Tex Edible??

When you mix Gum Tex with fondant, is that still edible???

I'm looking at my can of gum-tex and it has the nutritional facts thingy on it so I guess it would be edible. Don't have the slightest idea how it would taste though. Maybe someone else can tell us.
