How To ---- Antonia74's Large Cupcake Stand
Decorating By antonia74 Updated 13 Mar 2019 , 11:43am by Ladivacrj
My husband just finished constructing the stand and I am sooooo excited! I still have to sand it and paint it, but it's almost done!
The one thing I did switch was not putting that middle cross like wood thing on the top of each box (sorry, I don't know what it'd be called). I put thin rubber stoppers on the bottom corner of each box which prevents any possible sliding of the boxes when they are stacked. I eliminated the cross wood in the center because I like the idea of mixing up the position(s) of each box (sometimes move them all into the corner so it looks 'step like' - or alternating the boxes from straight to diagonal...)
Quick question though - any idea on how to get the ribbon to stay so straight and clean? Do you attach it with Velcro or something? I like the idea of switching out the ribbon to match the theme of the event.
I have a cupcake/wedding order coming up in August and am so excited to use this stand!!!
I'd like to see what this stand would look like if it were only 4 inches tall instead of 6. And about how much did it cost to make it?
What an awesome idea! Would be great a wedding or any large occasion. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Antonia, thank you so much for sharing this post. I plan on making this myself. I have one question...the picture which shows the underside of the 6" (top) box...why does it have 6 screws? It there something on the top that is screwed on? Thank you.
Wow! This is a wow idea!
I am new to CakeCentral...and astonish to all sharing ideas.
Chapeau! <3 love it.
So glad people are still asking about this stand! I haven't been on Cake Central for years now, moved and had a baby, lol

Congratulations! I haven't been on in years myself. Changed jobs, Opened a shop, closed a shop, didn't move, but also had a baby. It's been pretty crazy the past few years.
