Yesterday I was asked to make a sweet 16 cake for one of the girls at my church this Saturday. She is having a 70's theme and wants Marvin Gaye on her cake. I don't have an edible printer to use a photo on the cake. Any creative ideas on how I can swing this one?

If she actually wants a pic of him on the cake then fbct, or choc transfer or get an edible image made from walmart. If she wants a marvin gaye themed cake, maybe a musical theme?

if you have a picture you can take it to wal-mart and they will make the image for you for a price

I would do the edible image and make small 45's of his biggest hits, write the titles on the 45's.

Please tell me there are people here who know what 45's are!! icon_lol.gif

Thanks for the great ideas. I have had the worst sinus headache and I sort of overbooked myself and ran out creative juices. I love the 45's idea. I actually have some to copy from. I will definetely post once I'm done. Thanks so much for your help.
