Hi-5 Theme Cake?

hi
i was going to make my 2 yr old a hi-5 cake-the hand logo.
Do you think i should use fondant or mmf to coat the hand ifykwim? icon_smile.gif
i am not very experienced at decorating but i am a keen learner icon_smile.gificon_cry.gif

My DD and I were just looking at a cake like this on another website, sorry can't remember where becasue we looked at TONS of them. Maybe it was coolest-kids-birthday-parties.com. Something like that. She's looking at cakes now to help her decide what she wants. Hi-5 is up there.

Anyway, the one we saw was the whole cake carved like the hand and filled in with colored icing. It was really cool.

Depending on what size cake you were going to make and what you had in mind, there are several ways you could do it.
