I was wanting to make some homemade fondant to practice on my cake dummies. Thanks Dallas Foam. But I don't have any powdered sugar at all and I was wondering just for practicing if I could use flour instead of the powder sugar to make fondant. Anybody every try it to see if you can.

hmmm, never tried it. sorry i can't really help, but it would seem that flour would be too heavy and not fluffy enough, in comparison to ps. but, you can give it a try! let us know if it works.

I think you would end up with a gooey mess, but you could always try it and find out?

Well I got the answer to the million dollar question. DON'T DO IT. You are right all I ended up with was a big gooey mess. Well I guess nothing ventured nothing gained.
