I have a request for a cake like this one. This cake was found on the internet, I am not sure who made it. Does anyone know if this is from a pan or how this was done? I really do not want to attempt to cut this out.

Thanks for any help!

I believe this cake was carved to the shape they wanted. It shouldn't be too hard to do. If you have the huggable bear pan, you could always "modify" it.

Good Luck,
Beth

You could make a template from your computer and lay it over the cake and carve from there. THan decorate it following the pic! Good Luck Megan

I also just had a request for a penguin cake! I guess they're popular right now? Anyway, I thought that I would blow up a print of one & attempt a bc transfer. I don't know about the carving yet. I don't think that I'm getting paid enough to carve. I thought that I would place it on either a rectangle or square sheet pan. I'm going to try to fill up the top of the cake as much as possible with the penguin.
Good luck with yours!
