Hey!

So a friend wants to pay me for some cupcakes for her son's birthday.  It is an angry bird theme.  I already explained to her about legal issues and I contacted the company.  The birthday is at the end of this month and I am waiting to hear back from the company if it is possible to get that release agreement before then.  I thought I would ask a question on here while I am waiting.  If I cannot get an agreement, would, for example, a green cupcake with a crown be too similar to the King Pig?  Maybe if I just did a sling shot that does not look like theirs or red and yellow cupcakes with just angry eyebrows?  Would those ideas be okay do you think?

Thanx!!

Ait's not ok to use copyrighted materials as you of course already know -- using a random slingshot and generic crown would not be copyrighted images, nor is the color green -- cartoony generic angry eyebrows are fair game i guess --

but for future it's so much easier to avoid the whole thing -- don't you think?
