I made this for my son's Toy Story 3 Birthday party @ the movie theater..so much fun! I waited too late on the design and had to put non-edible stuff on it, Oh well! It's made to look like Andy's teenage room ( he's packing to go to college). The figures are purchased and the square cake is wrapped in scrapbook paper to look like a box. TFL!
This was for two girls celebrating birthdays on the same day. The theme was obviously fairies, Mom wanted pastels and polka dots. I saw a similar fairy somewhere on Flickr and wanted to try to do her. This is what I came up with...TFL!

I made this for my son's 5th B-day. It is all fondant- 10", 9" 6". He wanted a cake with Optimus Prime standing on top and probably wanted it to actually transform. It's so funny the expectations non-cake makers have, and now even my own child (lol). He loved it anyway!TFL
This was for a boy turning 5 who LOVES snakes. This was a very fun cake to do.... the head is RKT and the rest is cake. I struggled with the stripes, which I thought was going to be easy, but that is always the case. Whatever I think will be the easiest thing turns out to be the most diificult...TFL!!

These were for twins turning 4. They each got their own cake and a big cake for everyone else. I also made cupcakes for their party at school. All buttercream and fondant. I had lots of fun with this !! TFL.....
had to make a transformers ( bumblebee ) cake and I was at a complete loss....this is what I came up with. The kids liked it, that's what counts right.....TFL!!!
I made 36 of these buggers and 1 smasher cake for a little girl's 1st b-day. The ribbons were such a pain, but worth it in the end. TFL!!
This was done for a girl turning 8. It is a 9" & 6" chocolate cake torted with chocolate mocha filling and covered in buttercream, decorations are fondant, RI and brown sugar sand. Thanks to fellow cc'ers for the ideas!! TFL...
This was for a little girl turning 3, she wanted a pink princess cake.It's pink!! I used a real barbie and a wilton wonder mold on top of a 10" cake. It was my first time using mmf, her dress, the roses, the banner and the board are covered in mmf. The rest is buttercream. Thanks to CCer's for my inspiration!!!! TFL...
I made these for my son's preschool party.. they are lemon cake with lemon cream cheese frosting. I made a boo - boo and used royal icing on the chocolate hat, found out it doesn't stick.. The kids still loved them, gotta love 4 year olds!!
