Paul's Easter Bunny Cupcakes
Paul (my precious 10 year old nephew) stayed over last night. He baked these cupcakes from scratch, well he did all the mixing preparation etc, i just put them in the oven. Then we decorated together, i did some, and he did these. They are going to be taken to his grandmother's tonight for dinner. They are vanilla buttercake covered in fondant. I think he did a fantastic job on them.

Catherine & Dean's Wedding Cake
This was the second cake for this weekend. I didnt enjoy making it, but it was mainly because i took another order that made life difficult. This one was fairly easy and straight forward, plus the bride and groom were one of the nicest couple's i've made a cake for so far. I was happy to make my first cupcake only wedding cake, the ones i've made so far have always had a top cake (6 inch). These were vanilla buttercake with vanilla buttercream with cachous and a fondant heart.

Carolyn's Shoe
Made this for my friend at work. I had to rush it since after getting home tonight we went out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary and i had to do it after getting home in order to take it to work tomorrow. The cake is a 4 inch caramel mudcake covered in fondX, with a gumpaste shoe. The butterfly was made with a mold from the UK that a lovely gal from Perth gave me as a Christmas present. Thanks Tashy :D

Anniversary Cake
This cake went together as one order with the baby baptism cake. Both of them were to feed 150ppl. The edible image has photos of the things the couple has gone through from the time they got married, including going to Europe for him to play soccer, the baby's birth, injuries, etc. Just got an Sms from the girl's aunty who ordered the cake from me, to say they were soo thrilled that Kate cried when she saw the cake and that Joey was speechless. Im happy : )

Angelina's Baptism Cake
This design was picked from an aussie website. The original had a plastic baby, this baby is made with fondant over a stryrofoam ball. The whole topper is styrofoam covered in fondant. The moon is a 14inch dummy cut to shape and covered in royal icing. The cake is a 14 inch square double decker mudcake covered in fondx, the cubes are white chocolate mud. The board is a 20 inch masonite board, i hope this makes it to the club where the party is in one piece!!!

Fran's Birthday Cake
I made this cake for lunch today. Had lunch with two friends, Fran(franjmc) & Min(koko4min). On Sunday it was Fran's birthday so i made her this cake for her birthday. It was 5 layers of vanilla buttercake, filled with strawberry syrup and fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Covered in IMBC with a gumpaste waterlily. YUP the waterlily was rather HUGE hehehehe

My Mum's 60Th Birthday Cake.
This is for my mum's 60th which is today. It's a 4, 5 and 6 inch white choc coconut mud filled with dark chocolate ganache. Covered in fondx, piped with royal icing. Mum loves stuff with grapes on them, that's why the grapes are on there. Message on the base was piped in royal icing. I need practice piping words, my writing is very shaky even when i've cheated and put the writing in pencil on the board first.

Paul's Dodge Viper
Made this for my nephew at his request. Choc mudcake, carved to shape, I thought i was going to have a really easy time of it, since carving the cake was quite quick, but the icing was a nightmare, it turned into elephant skin in no time, and it was difficult to work with. The finish was very rough, my board chipped (the fondant broke off in a piece and i had a big patch). Didnt matter in the end as Paul was very happy with the cake, and my 3 year old niece thanked me for making such a beautiful cake. :)

Asian Themed Anniversary Cake
This cake was due today at 1.00. Started decorating after Humphrey cake was picked up last night. Buttercake filled with caramel and cream, with a coconut syrup. Covered in red crusting buttercream. The people were made using the Wilton mini stand up bear pan and covered in fondant. The girl arrived 2 hours early and i wasnt ready, therefore i had to take a picture of the cake in the box, no time for set ups ; ), i finished the happy anniversary sign while she waited in my living room hehehehe.
