I am trying to teach myself how to make orchids like the one in the picture below, but I am having a hard time putting them together. I bought the orchid cutter set from Global Sugar Art and I understand how to use the ball tool to shape the pettals, but I dont understand how to piece the three together. What holds the three cut pieces together on the back side? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

The petals, sepals and lip have to be wired (each one) and then put together after they are dry.
Wish somebody have instructions, I don't.
HTH somehow.

I have PM'd you some instructions that I scanned from one of my books. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post them in a public forum. They are in PDF format, let me know if you have any trouble.

You can sometimes find instructions on Global Sugar Art's website. Scroll all the way down to:

Downloads; and then

Instruction Sheets...

Here is the link to their Orchid Instructions:

Good luck! icon_smile.gif

I took a class at the wilton school in darien. they had each piece on a small gague white wire then wire them all together with white floral tape.

that way you can manuver each piece as you like.

I could try to scan them and email them if you like. they are hand written from the instructor but they might help.

just let me know.
