Painting With Lustre Dust..streaking...grrrr

How do I eliminate the streakyness of the lustre dust painted on large areas.Bigger brush? 2-3 coats? Someone knows icon_redface.gif

You might be adding too much liquid, and it does want to separate, give it a stir each time you dip the brush. It should be about the consistency of whipping cream before whipping.

I recently had this problem using the luster dust. I added a tiny bit more dust & gave it a really good stir. All was fine. Hope this helps & your dust behaves for you. thumbs_up.gif

Yup, what they said and it does help to have a larger brush and one of good quality. icon_smile.gif

Absolutely, and I should have thought of that. A good artists paintbrush is really important. The cheaper ones want to make the dusts bead up and you don't get even coverage. They can also leave hairs in the finished product.
