This cake was for a lady who does floral arraigning and belongs to a succulent club which was perfect for me as I love creating and arranging sugar flower! All flower are hand made out of gum paste then coloured with petal dusts. The wood effect on the case was created by brushing chocolate onto a ganache coated cake.

Mexican themed cake for a very special 21st. The pom poms and ruffle flours are all made out of fondant as well as the Mexcian bunting. It was a lot of fun making such a bright and cheerful cake! Top tier Gluten free choc cinnamon cake layered with raspberry swirl chocolate buttercream, bottom tier chocolate raspberry swirl cake with raspberry swirl buttercream.
This flower box cake was for a very special lady. Open rose, David Austin roses, hydrangeas, gardenias, lilac & peony made up the flowers on this cake.The flowers are all made from flower modelling paste and hand coloured. The box was the cake element. Gluten free choc orange cake, layered with chocolate buttercream and covered in chocolate ganache. The wood grain was produced by painting on dark & milk chocolate with just a touch of dark brown colour for the knots.
I wanted to experiment with some different techniques I hadn't tried before and this is the result. Soft ivory frills for the base tier. Hand embossed ombre green fans for the middle tier and the same embossing on the frilled flowers for the top tier. Finished off with just a touch of gold and pearls.
Spaghetti & Meatball cake! Everything you see is edible, and delicious! The bowl is red velvet cake layered with cream cheese flavoured buttercream and covered in a layer of white chocolate ganache. The 'spaghetti' is cream cheese flavoured buttercream, the sauce is homemade strawberry jam and the 'meatballs' are chocolate cake truffles flavoured with the same strawberry jam and Framboise.
Singapore orchids coloured to match the brides bouquet and elegant drapes adorn this 3 tier wedding cake.
