"Spring cake with wafer paper ranunculus" Spring is in the air, isn’t it ? With this cake I wanted to practice making en covering a cuboid cake and making wafer paper flowers. I used the geometrical "Escher" pattern again, this time in the colors pink and white. This cake is filled with orange cream with orange marmelade and a little bit of orange liquor Cointreau. I ate a piece of this cake and OMG … it tasted delicious !! xxx Riany

Iced Blue Wafer Paper Beauty
Lately, I saw a lot of flowers made of wafer paper. Today I finally had a chance to make these and I just have fallen in love with wafer paper. It's easy to make, simple and you can directly use it without drying time. I think I am going to make a lot of waferpaper flower from now on . This time I combined the iced blue wafer paper flowers with only a ganache cuboid cake and lace. I love the effect of the wafer paper, simple and elegant. xxx Riany

Purple Chevron Double Barrel Cake
The Purple chevron double barrel cake. I made this cake just for fun. A lot of people ask me, what does your cake look like on the inside ? This is it… It’s filled with mocca crème and salted caramel sprinkled with a little bit of coffee liquor “Tia Maria”. I’ve bought the salted caramel in France when I had a vacation in August last year. You can make your own salted caramel also. As you can see, the fondant layer is not thick at all. In combination with the chocolate ganache is this cake heaven…. hahahaha I hope you like it. xxx Riany

This is my submission to the latest Cake Central Magazine (Bells, Bows and Birds Holiday Wedding - Cake Central Volume 4 Issue 12 dec 2013). It was amazing to be asked to participate and a honour that my cake has been chosen for the third time in 2013. The themed photo they gave me for inspiration was a big black reindeer and trees, birds and ribbons. On the bottom layer I used dry brush effect for the tree trunk to create an icy look and feel. Of course there is no Christmas without a red Poinsettia which is made of flowerpaste. Hope you like it!!! xxx Riany

Romantic Proposal Cake
A week ago, a young man asked me if I could make a cake for the 31st of december. Actually I am off, but I could not say NO. He told me that he wants to propose his girlfriend at new year's eve with a surprise cake. He asked me to hide the ring in the cake. I came up with an idea to hide the ring in box between the two cakes. I am satisfied how the cake has become. Today I've got a message that he was so happy with the cake and the most important thing... she said YES! I hope you like it. xxx Riany

My entry for the Cake Masters autumn cake competition UK in the Professional category. The beautiful colors in my garden gave me the inspiration for this small wedding cake. The autumn colors match very nicely with gold lace on the chocolate brown cake on the 2nd and 3rd tier. The leaves instead of the flowers are more typical for this season and still give the cake an elegant look. I do hope that you'll like it.

Vineyard Wedding Cake Feaured In Ccm Vol 4 Issue 8 (Aug 2013)
This the cake that has been published in Central Magazine Volume 4 Issue 8 August 2013. Early June I was asked by Cake Central Magazine to create a cake for the August issue centered around the "Vineyard Wedding Special" theme. I was obviously very honored and surprised that I was invited, especially since it is my 2nd year of cakedecorating. When reading the invitation, it was this design that instantaneously popped up in my mind. Never did I imagine that my cake would be published in this issue and would be amidst the cakes of some extremely talented cake decorators ! This is without doubt the highlight of my cakedecorating career so far. Thanks Cake Central for giving me this opportunity and thanks to you all for your support !

3-Tier Corset Cake With Cornelli Lace And Ruffles
This was the cake for my own birthdayparty yesterday. I wanted to make a corset cake for a long time, but I didn’t want to carve the cake (hahaha). I love the colour grey and white.
