Teddy Bears Picnic
I was given a picture of a cake made by the amazing Alessandra Cake designer – Studio cake. My customer loved the design so much she didn’t want me to change it. So although I did make this cake and those teddies 100% full design credit goes to Alessandra. I loved creating her design and honestly who can resist those gorgeous little teddies x

Lavender Elegance
This two tier cake was made for a 21st for a lovely elegant young lady. I was so unsure abut the design until it was almost done then the more I finished it the happier I got. This is the third time I have ever stencilled a cake and for anyone that wants to know how it is done head over to Lesley’s page aka Royal Bakery on facebook she has an awesome tutorial and basically I couldn’t explain it better than she already has :-). For info oh how to luster a cake check out Sharon wee’s cake blog. Thanks for looking at my cake lovelies xx

Soft And Sweet Buttercream
This cake was one of those last minute orders where someone rings and says I really need a cake and then you cringe when you find out it is for the next weekend haha. Well I was actually in a pretty happy mood when they rang and when they wanted a simple buttercream cake I though yeah why not. I have never made a buttercream cake before but I knew straight away that I didn’t want it to have a perfect buttercream finish. The customer really liked one of my other cakes that had a lot of bling on it but there was no time to order any thing so I suggested I just make some brooches fondant and cachous’s and fondant flowers to give the cake a bit of a blingy feel. I was very happy with how the cake turned out. It looked more like a wedding cake than an engagement cake but the lady I made it for was over the moon when she saw it which made my day. Thanks for looking :-)

Anchors Away
I made this cake for a couple that were celebrating their engagement. They love sailing and also scuba diving but wanted an elegant cake. I kept the coral and reeds white and added hologram white luster to them so they sparkle (which you can’t see in the photo) to keep the cake looking elegant. I really enjoyed making this cake and the response from the clients was amazing and reminded me of why I love making cakes so much.

Once Upon A Time
The wicked side of snow white. Cake designed for a 50th birthday party. The birthday girl was going dressed to her party as the evil queen from snow white and wanted an elegant cake that represented a fairy tale but did not look like a childs cake. This is the cake i came up with. Thanks for looking x

Birdcage Cake
This is my first birdcage Cake. A special request from my mum who has just celebrated her 50th birthday. When mum asked if i would make her a birdcage cake i knew that i wanted it to look like it was on a wooden pole so thats what i based the design on and basically went from there. I hope you love it as much as my mum did when she saw it. x Tina

Simply Elegant
I had a lot of fun doing this cake and some dramas aswell but ill let those go, no point crying over spilt milk as they say. This whole cake was lustered and it was so much fun and transformed what would have been really simple to stunning. The satin sheen made it super duper elegant and i loved it. The technique which i have never done before was surprisingly simple and all that panic was for nothing hehe

Rustic Autumn
texturing this cake was going to be a challenge for me. It literally goes against everything i strive for when ganaching a cake, which is that glorious perfect canvas for fondant. The cake had to have that rough light and shade look and I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I kept getting out my bench scraper to try and smooth it hahaha in the end i had to put it away to stop myself smoothing it lol. i would have loved to make the sugar flowers to top this cake but the real ones do look soooo stunning and matched the cake perfectly. I did get to make sugar flowers for the cupcakes though :-)))

Pyschologist In Training
I made this cake for a lovely young lady turning 21 who is studying to be a Psychologist at University. My first sugestion was a brain lol but her mum didnt want anything to gory lol. So i Suggested a Stacked book cake because i have never done one before. I also hand cut a jigsaw with my exacto blade to cover the board so show that a psychologist is trying to solve the puzzle of our mind. Im pretty sure they would have got it :-). I also hand cut the 21 and then layed the jigsaw pieces over the top to match the board. The cover of the book is an edible image. Then i made a topper of Krystie with her pen and notepad. The note pad says "Diagnosis CRAZY" lol i couldnt help with my horrible attempt at humor hahaha. Hope you like it
