Art Deco Lady
An Art Deco themed cake based on a series of greeting cards that the recipient is fond of. The lady is painted on to hand cut fondant, the majority of her decoration is edible being made from wafer paper, fondant and Isomalt. With the addition of some real beading she was designed to be removed from the cake as keepsake. The Gold lace detailing and panels on the cake were all edible.

Autumn Wedding Cake
This cake was made for a bride who requested an Autumn themed cake for her October wedding. The inspiration came from her wedding invitations that depicted trees with an Autumn colour palette. The bottom tier was a Chocolate fruit cake covered in ganache and fondant, which was then embossed and airbrushed to reproduce a cut log with the couples initials carved into it. The extended middle tier consisted of a chocolate mud cake and a chocolate orange swirl sponge, this was fondant covered and hand painted using Cocoa Butter and Petal dusts. My first time using this wonderful medium, my thanks to Calli of Callicious Cakes for talking me through this technique. The top tier was a a vanilla and raspberry sponge, which was topped with a pair of fondant love birds and a gum paste wreath of seasonal leaves and Berries.

Reptile Cake
I was requested to make a cake for a little boy who was having a reptile party for his Birthday (with real live ones!), When I asked what his favourites where, he told me he would like an Iguana, a Snake and Tarantula Spider. So his wish was my command....... The main body of the cake was an 11” chocolate mud cake disguised as a rock, the Iguana was also fully edible being made from both RKT and fondant. The snake and spider were also made from fondant with the addition of wire legs covered in flower tape for the spider.

Today Is The Last Day Of School For Many Of The Children Across The Uk Before They Start There 6 Weeks Summer Holiday This Is A Cake I Made
Today is the last day of school for many of the children across the UK before they start there 6 weeks summer holiday. This is a cake I made for 22 little children to celebrate their last day at primary school before moving up to big school. I was given the children’s most recent class photo to work from, and I have hopefully captured just a little characteristic of each child. This cake design is very dear to me, as the original was actually the first cake I ever made. I made the original for my daughters class in July 2010, the popularity of the cake led me on this marvellous cake journey!
