Wonderfully Wicked Magical Cake
This cake was inspired by the magical friendship between Elphaba and Glinda from the Broadway musical Wicked. Bottom tier features the famous image of the musical, all done in frosting! Next tier up is a blue field with the Time Dragon and clocks and gears which are featured as a backdrop throughout the musical. Next tier represents Glinda in Popular Pink, with pink frosting covered in pink Wilton Cake Sparkles Edible Glitter. I also added a handmade tiara which is non-edible. Top tier is shared by Elphaba's black hat (it's really, uh, sharp, dontcha think? You know black is this year's pink!) made from gum paste and covered with frosting for texture, as well as Glinda's magic wand which I hand-wrapped around a cookie stick.

Dinosaur Birthday Cake With Erupting Volcano!
My son knows I make cakes. So there was no getting around him asking for an over the top cake. The theme for the party was dinosaurs so I made him a dino scene with a volcano that erupted, complete with a lit "7" sparkler! See the second photo for the eruption!

Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday Cake
I got an order to make a Yo Gabba Gabba themed birthday cake for a client's son's 2nd birthday. And with only about 24 hours to work with, I came up with this one! Wish the fondant had more time to settle but overall it came out cute and the client was pleased. Fed about 60 people.

An Apple For The Teacher
My son was graduating first grade and he was saying goodbye to the best teacher he ever had! He wanted me to make her a cake at the end of the year so this is what I came up with. It's a mini cake (feeds about 6 people) and covered in red fondant. Leaves, yellow message ribbon and worm with mortarboard hat are all edible! (She loved it, btw!)
