Traditional Wedding Cake
I did this cake for my eldest son's wedding. Each layer was a different flavor. The bride did not get to know what her cake was going to look like until she entered the reception hall. The joy on her face and the "Look at my cake! It gorgeous!" was well worth all the work that went into this cake.

Monogram Wedding Cake
This 7", 10", 13", 16" square wedding cake was entirely done in red velvet cake with creme cheese frosting. The bride's colors were off white, white, and deep red. In order to enhance the effect, I used a white dotted swiss accents and borders on the off white creme cheese icing. The roses were place between the layers to hide the pillars. I do not usually work in creme cheese for wedding cakes, but after experimenting with my recipes I finally found the right combination for stability.

Hidden Pillar Wedding Cake
The bride wanted a stacked cake, but did not want to see the pillars. I used a hidden pillar system that fits directly on the plate and goes all the way through for a secure build. The bride's colors were pastel pink, yellow, and green. The cakes were accented with small dots in the bride's colors. The pillars were camoflauged with light green netting.
