Darbi's Polka Dot Cake
This was for a friend's little girl, who turned 10. The bottom tier is chocolate cake and the top two are white, all covered in buttercream. The dots and bottles of nail polish are mmf, the bow and ribbon are mmf/gumpaste mix, and the D on the top is a cake topper provided my friend. Darbi loved her cake, and that makes it all worth it! TFL!

Batman Birthday Cake
I made this for my son's birthday today. Thanks to paoli96 for the tri-level cake idea! Chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The buildings are a gumpaste/fondant mix with yellow gumpaste windows. The Batman logo and birthday signs are gumpaste. I used a vodka/food coloring mix to paint on them. All the characters and Batmobile are toys. The cakes I make for my family are always the most fun! TFL!

Granny's Christmas Tree
This was made for a friend's grandmother for Christmas dinner. I just had to make it a couple days early because I'm going out of town. Yellow butter cake- two 6", one 5", two 4" and two cupcakes stacked- covered in buttercream. The star on top is gumpaste. This was my first Christmas tree cake, and I enjoyed it! TFL!

Pajama Time! Birthday Cake
This was for a sweet little girl turning 3. One of her favorite books, and the theme of her party, was "Pajama Time!" So I designed the cake after the book. The bottom tier has little sets of pjs (mmf) all around it, with stars and quotes from the book. The top tier is covered in fondant stars, and is topped with more stars and a fondant/gumpaste mix moon. Strawberry cake with buttercream. TFL!

Green Cross Baptism Cake
The daughter of a friend of mine is getting baptized tomorrow morning, and family and friends are celebrating afterward. She asked if I could make her a cake and showed me a picture of what she wanted. It's white cake filled and covered with buttercream, with a white mmf cross on top. TFL!

Halloween Fun!
I made these for my son's school carnival. I scooped chocolate chip cookie dough into cupcake papers and baked them. After they came out of the oven, the centers caved in, so I filled them with chocolate ganache and covered them with buttercream. I then topped them with Halloween cutouts made from fondant. So much fun and so very yummy! TFL!
