This is a Graham Cracker Cake Cupcake iced in buttercream. The cake is a heavier cake, almost like a quick bread. Love it!
White cake, base iced with buttercream. Panelled the sides with fondant then did a round of fondant on top. Scratched in my wood graining with my wonderful fondant tools. Airbrushed then washed with vodka. First time doing a barrel. Got some ideas to improve upon this starter.

My second attempt at making a baseball cake. This time I used modeling tools to create a groove for the seem on the baseballs and then piped the strings. I used the WASC recipe for the cake, buttercream and fondant.

I made this for a bake sale for a local boys baseball team. I was inspired by the Christmas Ornaments on cc. This was my first time covering cake sphere's with fondant. It was not working out so well for me! Time to start practicing some more! Look out honey :)
My first Ganache covered cake. The fondant coated the cake much easier than when I use buttercream, but I need to perfect smoothing the ganache before it sets.

This is a Banana Cake with White Chocolate Monkeys for my family. The crumb topping was the baked cake crumbs from leveling. Iced with IMBC (with a hint of banana flavor)
This cake was made to use up my scraps of Fondant and Melting chocolates. I had a little less fondant than I thought, the result was a little tearing on the coverings. I made cake balls with the scraps and used them as my decorations. Nothing will go in the garbage today!
