very basic, but fun to make
Wedding cake. Mother of the bride picked out everything else for the wedding, so this is what the bride wanted for the cake. She gave us a general idea and the colors and we came up with this design. Very fun to do!!!
Burnt orange fondant, royal icing piping, then hand painted in gold
Did the monogram using a light box. Chocolate accents brushed with copper/gold mix.
This was a very blue cake, with white drapes and tons of fresh flowers. A relative to the bride made the swans on the top (very fragile origami birds) Made the monogram using a light box I made out of an old fondant bucket.
100% edible, about 3ft tall gingerbread cookies

Train is made out of tempered chocolate and modeling chocolate trim
so this was a fun cake. silver fabric ribbons on cake tiers and on the styrfoam seperators. piping done with buttercream, and fresh baby pink roses. bride was very "barbie" so we had 3 boxes of diamonds to decorate the cake and table with.
this is for our showroom, so its a dummy. off white fondant with chocolate fondant bands. royal icing piping. and sugar flowers
pretty basic cake, covered in fondant, creamy goldish colored ribbon, with a large corn flower on the top.
This is a cake our pastry team did for a cake competition. We won people's choice. Everything is chocolate, different patterns for the tiers, and all the candies are all edible. The cups separating the tiers are just for support, so not edible (although the cup on top is made out of gumpaste). we had it on a turning cake turntable, so it slowly spun around. We did lots of decorations for the table that were also made out of chocolate. it took us about 4 days to make everything and get it all assembled. the cake is styrofoam, but we had to present a real top tier to the judges, so our flavor was chocolate cake, caramel cream, with homemade salted toffee chunks.
This was a replica of the brides mothers wedding cake from over 40 yrs ago. The pictures I had were very blurry, so I just made up the design. I thought it was beautiful, but not my style. Enjoy
carved pumpkin cakes covered in fondant, then airbrushed. hand painted the white tiers, and made the "cemetery" around the bottom of the cake out of modeling chocolate.
