New Townhouse Basket
These cookies are part of a basket that I'm making for an old neighbor who is moving to a new townhouse.
Dresses And Shirts
These are some of the dresses and shirts that I made last night as practice with some left over cookie dough and my first batch of Antonia's Icing. I wanted to make clothes for my father to take in to work at his Dry Cleaning store. Other than the green dress - which I put my finger in - I was pleased with the results.
These cupcakes are for my nieghbor's little girl. Today is her 3rd birthday party!
Brithday cake for a young Redskins fan. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. Royal piping.
Bear With Blanket
This was a cake for a fellow teacher who was having a baby. It was my first time doing basket weave, so I was pretty happy with it. I still need practice, though...
I can't believe I'm posting these after seeing all of the cookies in this gallery! I've learned so much from you all already, I hope that this fall my cookies will look a lot better!
Happy Turkey Day
This was the centerpiece/hostess gift for my mother-in-law last Thanksgiving. The turkey's body is chocolate and the feathers are all cookies.
This was my frist (and probably only!) wedding cake. My brother got eloped in California and came home (Maryland) on their 1st anniversary for a "reception." I surprised him, and everyone else by making this wedding cake. It was a cake full of firsts for me too... first wedding cake, first teired cake, first roses...
Lazy Cuban Days
This was a carrot cake with cream cheese icing made for a neighbor's birthday. The party had all Cuban food, so I created this cake. The flavor and theme were requested by the hostess.
These Florida cookies were for a couple moving to Florida from Maryland. One of my first cookie decorating endeavors!
