This is my first attempt at a shoe and shoebox....didn't anticipate the top of the shoebox would be so hard. Pretty bad, I think I will stick to not carving :) White chocolate cake with BC frosting and MMF. lid and box are cake and shoe is fondant.

Thanks to bouncyboing for the inspiration. Had a coworker come in and wanted me to make a tent cake for her son's boyscouts. I didn't have much to work with so I had to improvise. The cake was VERY crumply, not sure what she baked, so I stacked and had to use store bought icing to turn a 9 x 13 into a tent. She did buy fondant for me. Thanks for looking.

This is a 1st for me in many ways....chocolate cake, gumpast bows and booties and traveling with a cake. I was not pleased with the icing, I made it too thick so it wouldn't smooth well. Top tier is lemon cake, lemon curd, lemon BC, Bottom tier is Chocolate cake, peanut butter filling, BC.
