Cascading Blossom Cake
Had the pleasure to finally have a go at creating a cake that I had been longing to do for a while. A simple, yet pretty cascading blossom cake in the birthday girls favourite colours. I lost count of how many blossoms I made, but there are a few on there. It wasn't a big cake though, approx. 6" round from memory. Thanks for looking xx

The Gemma
A good friend of mine asked me to create a wedding cake for her special day. She already had a design in mind (the offset square look) when she came to me and this is the finished product. She had requested anemones, hyacinths and succulents for the flowers (most of which I hadn't created before!). The weather here at the time was also very wet and humid so this cake literally gave me nightmares. Also the fact that it had to travel 4 hours in a car to reach its destination - it was quite the adventure!! I had a lot of fun (in highsight!) creating this one. Thanks for looking :)

Dinosaur Cake
Created this sweet little fella for my son's 3rd birthday party. It's my 'attempt' at the dinosaur from Debbie Brown's book Gruesome and Gorgeous Cake for Children. Had a lot of fun with him and my little boy loved him - which makes it all worth it! On the 'inside' he was white chocolate and raspberry mud cake with white chocolate ganache. Thanks for looking

50Th Wedding Anniversary Cake
Had the great pleasure of creating my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary cake. My first time attempting a peony flower and also my first time wiring flowers together like this. Enjoyed the experience and hope I get the chance to make more of these gorgeous flowers. Cake is an orange and almond cake with dark chocolate ganache. Thanks for looking

Princess Tiara Pillow Birthday Cake
Created this cake for my gorgeous niece's 6th birthday party. Had so much fun making this, had been dying to try one for ages. Unfortunately it ended up being my first cake disaster - but thankfully got pictures before it happened. The tiara broken once we arrived at the venue and I just couldn't get it fixed. I was so close!! It broken in the venue carpark, talk about bad luck. Lots of lessons learnt, including aways make backups!! The birthday girl loved it still - I ran out to a nearby toy store and bought a sweet little toy tiara to go on top. Tiara is made from Gumpaste, cake is covered in fondant. Raspberry cake with a raspberry buttercream. Thanks for looking

Little Girls First Birthday Cake
A special little cake created for a sweet little girls first birthday celebration. Strawberry cake with vanilla bean buttercream. It smelt heavenly while it was baking in my kitchen! Only my second time modelling 'little people' and was quite pleased with how she turned out. Thanks for looking.

Golf Birthday Cake
Golf Birthday Cake for friend's surprise 40th birthday. Golf ball is chocolate mud cake with dark chocolate ganache, cake itself is caramel mud cake with milk chocolate ganache. Everything is edible, including the tee's. Many thanks to Mom262 for the inspiration for this cake :) Sorry about bad picture, of the three cakes I had due this weekend this is the one cake I forgot to take a proper picture of. Ended up taking one at the party, so dodgy lighting, apologies. Many thanks for looking Geordie
