Glitz & Glamour Girl!!
This was done for a 23rd birthday. The young lady is a very girlie girl. She loves all things glitzy! I wanted to add a necklace, but could not find what I wanted so I opted for the ring. Her mom was so excited when she saw it she screamed & started jumping up & down. lol I love to get that kind of reaction!! This was my first shoe. Scared me to death!! Thanks for looking!!

How They Met
The bride & groom met when she cut his hair. The groom came up with the idea of the bride & groom Barbie set with her cutting his hair as a topper for the cake. I told the bride that it would be too big as a topper but that I could elevate the cake on pillars so that it looked like a gazebo under the cake & place them there. She was thrilled with the results. The cake is butter almond flavor covered in butter almond flavored rolled buttercream. The pipework is buttercream. Thanks for looking!!

Slots Of Birthday Wishes
My mom loves the casinos. When I saw DecoratedDreams slot machine, I knew that I had to make it for her. I added a few more details in hopes to make it look more authentic. I had an issue with the plastic dowel bending and it came through the side of the cake. When I covered the cake in my rolled buttercream it started to cave on that side. Thank the Lord for my husband. He cut a piece of mdf, we covered it with the black paper & he screwed a block behind it to brace the cake. Hallelujah it worked!!! lol Except for the dowel disaster, this was a very fun cake to make.

Duck Hunter's Dream
The cake is chocolate (my grandmother's recipe. Yum!!) with chocolate buttercream. The accents are fondant. The duck is a figurine that I found at an old five & dime in Branson. The bride & groom loved it. The bride told me that she hates chocolate but when she saw the cake she said, "I want a piece of that!". lol Thanks for looking!

Damask Wedding
This was my first use of the Cricut Cake. It arrived 3 days before the wedding so I literally took it out of the box & went to work! The tips that came with it said to freeze my material for 30 mins on the mat before cutting. It didn't work well. I found that it cut much neater if the fondant was more pliable. Dry fondant will just tear. Two tiers were strawberry with cheesecake flavored rolled buttercream. The other two were almond vanilla with almond vanilla rolled buttercream. The bride loved it. Thanks for looking!

John Deere Tractor
This is my version of Natskys vision. Thanks for the inspiration. The tractor body is a 6" square cut, stacked & carved. The wheels are RKT. I had fun making this cake. I was really nervous about it, but I think it turned out cute. My tractor isn't as good as Natskys but I was pleased with the result. TFL

Match The Napkin!!
This was my first time to use a stencil. I got the icing a little thicker on one side. Oh well, practice makes perfect!! I had no instruction for the cake, just the napkin for colors.I debated several different designs & finally decided to match the napkin. All in all, I think it turned out ok. TFL.

4 And Fabulous!!
This was done for a little girl who at the age of 4 already knows just what she wants! lol She originally wanted purple, pink & lime green, until she saw the cake that I did for the 1st birthday & fell in love with it. I still plan to do her original idea some other time. Thanks for looking.
