Black And White Valentine Cake
For a coworker's going away with a Valentine day theme. Also practicing black/white for an upcoming wedding and practicing a red velvet recipe at the same time so it's a very multi-functional cake. 8" and 6" hearts with red velvet/white chocolate ganache filling. Pearls and ribbon are real.

Chocolate Box Cake
One is a 10" heart, one is a 6" heart, and one is just extra batter (6" round) All are one layer cherry chip cake and torted once then filled with white chocolate ganache mixed with coconut and chopped glace cherries. I think I'd use red velvet if I made this again for sure:) Fondant ropes and ruffles. Had big plans to make cake balls and a fondant lid but ran out of time so used storebought chocolates:(

Snowman Pillar Cake
This cake gave me so much trouble I wanted to scream - had to reroll the bottom tier fondant 3-4 times then plaster it in decos to cover up the badness:) Overall though it worked out fine - luckily there's no such thing as overdoing decorations at Christmastime:) Bottom tier is an 8" s'mores cake (graham cracker cake with chocolate ganache/marshmallow fluff filling) and top cake is chocolate peanut butter fudge cake with ganache/chopped pb cup filling) Merry Christmas everyone:):)

Sunshine Cake
This is for a baby shower (sex unknown) I wanted it to be happy:) 9" yellow cake with cherry filling with half ball pan for the sunshine - very amateur version of JanakaT's gorgeous cake. It was really easy and really fun to make - the border was actually made with the plastic mold included in an advent calendar:)

First Four Tiered Wedding Cake
Peacock colour themed wedding cake. Four tiers (12,10,8,6) All french vanilla - two with nutella and two with white chocolate ganache. First four tiered cake and 2nd wedding cake I've ever done...I don't think I ever want to do another wedding cake ever again - too much work:) But I even included a bonus topper for freezing:) The bride will add peacock feathers/fresh flowers on top to finish it off.

Baby's 1St Birthday Baby Block Cake
For a coworker - design requested by his cute daughter who requested this design for her baby brother:) Three layer 6" square (french vanilla/nutella - seems to be a very popular combo) plus smash cakes (used one 6" square cut into 4 pieces to make 2 smash cakes) I guess two weren't necessary but I didn't want to waste cake:) Would do the borders differently next time

Kang Cake
He's supposed to look like Kang from the Simpsons but ended up looking more like Mike Wazowski in Monsters Inc. (except with tentacles):) But I also tried two new cake recipes (pumpkin with chocolate ganache on top, orange cake with chocolate ganache on the bottom) The orange cake actually sunk in the middle - that has never happened to me before - and you can sort of see it in the picture too:) Next time I might try the orange cake with yellow cake mix rather than white:)

Spongebob Squarepants
My first Spongebob cake - he's a 9X13 double layer chocolate fudge cake with white chocolate ganache filling. I had a very busy week at work plus this was my third cake of the week so I was a tad messy with him (stuck his arms on the wrong spot - yikes) but still ok with the end result - he looked Spongebobby enough for me:)

Carriage Cake
Thanks Crashdummy2 for the inspiration:) Although mine is a poor copy - I am still happy with the final result and the person I made it for loved it:) The bottom tier is chocolate fudge and cherry filling. The carriage is pistachio with cherry filling. I had to use 2-6" rounds plus a pyrex bowl cake on top - next time I would use a proper ball pan:) It was a lot of fun to make though - love the girlie cakes:)
