Girly Cupcake Cake
The request was for a girly cake with cupcakes. It is my home made version of a funfetti cake with buttercream frosting. The bottom cake is a 12" with a giant cupcake on top. The cupcakes on the side are cut in half and "pasted" on with frosting. The # 1 topper is made out of gumpaste and the smash cake is a single layer 6".

Silly Turkey
I made this for Thanksgiving and my kids got a kick out of it! I had two sets of feathers made, but the larger one broke on me, so I had to adapt and make this set work by itself. It wasn't the complete look I was going for, but these things happen! It is apple flavored cake with cream cheese frosting, made with the Wilton ball pan. All decorations are gumpaste or a gumpaste/fondant mix. Thank you to LindaWolff and ccalvin for inspiration!

Puppy Cake
I made this one for my daughter's 3rd birthday. It was my first time carving a cake and I was sooooo nervous! Thanks to tirby and SweetieVie for all your tips and advice! It is Yumfetti Cake (my homemade version of funfetti) and covered in buttercream. Green and black accents are all fondant. I ran out of time to do this one with all of the other party things that needed to be done so there are still a lot of things I didn't get to do with it. Overall I think I am happy with my first carved cake! :)

Halloween Cake Balls
I was just using up some scraps so I decided to try some Halloween ones. This is my second time doing cake balls and my first time using the Wilton candy melts. I sure did have a hard time with those candy melts!! I'm not sure why, but they never melted to a point where it coated easily and hardened up fast. I guess I will have to practice some more! :)

Baby Booty Cake
This was done for a teenager who is expecting, so I did a fun print and lively color. I also added the babies name on the flower in the corner of the blanket. This was my second booty cake and this time around the feet and legs gave me a bit of trouble and didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. The 10" round cake is frosted in buttercream and decorated with fondant. The 6" booty, legs and feet are also cake and are covered in fondant. Blanket is also fondant.

Litter Box Cake
This is a tres letches cake covered in whipped cream frosting. The litter is ground up vanilla cookies with some black food coloring. I also ground up a few with green and blue food coloring to give it that true cat litter look! The poop is Tootsie Rolls warmed a bit and then shaped. Gross, but a fun cake to make!

Hello Kitty Cookie Cake
My daughter saw a cookie cake at Sam's Club that had Hello Kitty plastic rings on it and wanted it. I told her I can make one for her and she can eat the kitty! ;) It was my first time making a cookie cake though, and it was kind of a get rid of extra frosting colors kinda thing. This is only my second frozen buttercream transfer image and I still need more practice! It sure was yummy to eat though!

Cowgirl Cake
I made this one for my daughter who had a long list of things she wanted on her cowgirl cake. I did as many as I could! :) The 6" and 10" are chocolate cake and the 8" is blueberry cake. All done in buttercream and fondant accents. The cow, 5, belt, hats and boots are all hand made from fondant/gumpaste. This was my first time using an impression mat and hand making any kind of figures and I had fun with it!

Destiny's Quinceanera Cake
This cake tested my nerves a bit. For the first time, I traveled with a fully assembled cake, my heart beating out of my chest the whole way there! Luckily, all went well! ;) I made this for my friend, who's daughter was turning 15. All three tiers are alternating chocolate and white cake and frosted in buttercream. The stripes and dots are fondant and the dot border around the first and third tier are buttercream. The 15 topper and the bow are made from 50/50 gumpaste and fondant.

Triple Chocolate Cake
I made this cake for a person my Mom works with. It was my first try making and using ganache and it didn't go as well as I had hoped. I think I waited a bit too long to add the ganache to the cake and it was too cool to drip down the sides like it should. I suppose this is how you learn though! :) It is a 9" chocolate cake, frosted with chocolate buttercream and decorated with the ganache.

Thanksgiving Turkey Cake #2
I did this same frozen buttercream transfer on another Thanksgiving cake for the first time, and then my husband asked if I would make one for him to take to work. I was excited to do another one so I could work on the mistakes I made the first time. It did turn out better, but I can't wait to try it again with another picture! I used the Pumpkin Spice Cake I recipe from this site in a 10" pan.
