The Bejeweled Bride
This is my cake for the Mid-Atlantic Wedding Cake Competiton. The theme was "Something Old, Something New, etc". I chose to do jewelry that the bride would wear. The diamonds are homemade candies from a mold a made. I used pears drageees.I used a soap mold for the bottom layer to resemble pearls. I used lots of luster dusts with my airbrush. I loved doing that!! The tiara is royal with candy diamonds and pearl dragees.

1St Anniversary
This cake was ordered by a woman who wanted to surprise her hubby. She wanted to celebrate their anniversary by reliving their honeymoon. She wanted a beach themed cake for the occasion. The dog is a puppy that he is supposed to be giving her as an anniversary gift. If not she has an easy one to take care of now! Chocolate cake with buttercream. Fondant figures and gumpaste chairs.

Kristi And Friends Graduate
This cake was made for my cousin this weekend. She wanted me to make figures of her and her friends to put on the cake. I thought a graduation hat style cake would be a good surface to put them on. All fondant on the cake and the figures had a base of styrofoam ball and cone. I used a cake board and covered it with fondant for the flat part of the hats.
