Koala Cake Pops
My first time every making cake pops. These are my Koala "mice" / bears that I made for my sister's anniversary. She loves her "wally" bears. They look a little like mice to me and could someone please tell me why my candy melts turned purple when I added black. Obviously trying to make gray but it turned purple. Added some bamboo looking plant that I had in my backyard to complete the look. Thanks for looking.
Parent's Anniversary Cake

Cake that I made for a "boy's party". My first two design ideas didn't work out so I was scrambling the morning of the party to figure out what to decorate it with. I used bounce balls around the side and a foam ball on top. Bottom is strawberry lemonade with strawberry filling and top is chocolate with peanut butter filling. Covered in fondant with whipped frosting for the grass. RI lettering.
Pirate Treasure Chest
This was an attempt to make a treasure chest before I actually knew much about decorating. Gummy fish under blue piping gel, red straps are fruit rolls, and dots are M&M's. Made for a student teacher working for a HS with a Pirate mascot. TFL.
Got the idea from the Family Fun magazine. We had a barbecue for our combined anniversary and thought these would be a nice change from all the cake we get. "Hot dogs" are Hot Tamales, "Steaks" are carmel and cream, "Shishkabobs" are cut up gummies. Lines made with black food coloring. Super easy and super cute. TFL.
