Forest Themed Wedding Rehearsal Cake And Cupcake Tower
The darn cake settled upon the 1 hour delivery. I was so upset! Anyhoo....this is a 6" all buttercream cake. The leaves were fondant/tylose, colored a little with dry food colors, edible shellac was applied (50/50 vodka and light corn syrup), the tree bark was chocolate curls/scraps, the fern was piped with buttercream. There were 5 dozen cupcakes.

Stadium Football And Basketball Cake
This was a sketch the groom drew out. I did it to a "T" the way he drew it. My first carved cake and my largest cake thus far! Lots of work, but was fun! My basketball hoop bombed at delivery. I will do that better next time. The football field goal was from a Wilton football kit. There were 3 half sheet cakes total for this cake. All were torted and filled. A HUGE thank you to Cinda from www.cindascreativecakes.com for her complete explanation of how to construct this cake!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! She was on Ultimate Cake off y'all!!!!

Baby Stroller Cupcake Tower
Stroller is made from fondant that I add tylose to with a RKT center. There is a lollipo stick running vertically through the carriage for support in the cake. There are green-covered wires under the canopy to support it. The wheels I had no idea how to do, so I made those on a lollipop stick, just circles and let the stick rest on something so the wheels would dry in a circular shape, but also attached to the sticks. I used a glob of gumpaste to prop up the carriage, so when they rested on the stick with the wheels, they wouldn't push the wheels in to the cake as it was just buttercream. Everything was airbrushed with pearl airbrush color for the shimmer.

Shoebox Cake And Shoe
This was my first time making this cake and the shoe. I always use fondant with tylose. I have never used gumpaste actually. I really wanted to make the lid open, but I had so many orders and not enough time! I used an actual, unused, new highheel shoe for the template per Pink Cake Box suggestions and tutorial.

Pillow And Tiara Cake
This is my specialty...the towers. My first time making a tiara. I went with the gumpaste way instead of royal icing since so many people say it breaks easily. The pillow was hand-carved using an electric knife. I got a little chicken with the carving afraid the cake was going to completely fall apart, so I stopped. I would have liked it a little more rounded than it was.

2 Tier Barnyard Cake
This is a complete copy of a cake I found while searching for this theme cake. I don't have the original designers name, so if anyone recognizes this design, please let me know so I can give him/her credit. I replaced the original cakes little ducks with rabbits because the birthday girl loves rabbits!

Curious George Cake And Cupcakes
This is a TOTAL COPY of a cake I found on Google. It may be on here as well. If you all know the original caker, please tell me, however, I do not know who it was, but thank you! This was my first time making a monkey figurine. I love the little bananas. The balloons on the cupcakes were meant to be flying, but there was not enough clearance between the tiers, so I had to smush them down. Oh well!

Dinosaur Cake And Cupcake Tower
The volcano is my first time using rice kripsy treats, then I wrapped it in fondant. The tree has a wire that I twisted and then rolled fondant around it. I'm not sure why I didn't use the rice krispy treats for this as well. I will do that next time. The rocks are chocolate rocks I got at a specialty candy store.

Baby Booties Baby Girl Baby Shower Cake Cupcake Tower
My first attempt, 1 hour before the party, at making baby booties out of fondant/tylose. It wasn't hard, I just got confused with making a left bootie and a right bootie and making sure the buckle went to the outside of the shoe. All the pacifiers, etc. were fondant and brushed with pearl luster dust.
