Gluten Free/Dairy free/nut free...etc. cake. Chocolate/chocolate DF buttercream filling on the bottom and vanilla/vanilla on the top. All gray DF buttercream with fondant accents and dairy free krispy treat figures/topper. The tiny details were done with some edible writers. The death star details were hard to line up perfectly and Vader was definitely fighting me (hehe) but my son loved it and I was happy with it in the end.

30th Cake for my hubby. White cake with cottoncandy buttercream. Buttercream and fondant accents. All pieces were hand sculpted. There are a bunch of hidden pillars wrapped in fondant supporting the small cake and some inedible supports. TFL!

5th Birthday Cake. Strawberry Shortcake and the number 5 are gumpaste. The large strawberries are made from cupcakes. Gluten free, dairy free, egg free, nut free cake. Top tier is strawberry and vanilla buttercream. Bottom is vanilla buttercream. Buttercream icing with fondant and gumpaste decorations. I over softened my buttercream on the top tier with dairy free that can be sooo frustrating! Live and learn! TFL!

1st Birthday cake for my niece/goddaughter. Her mom asked for ballet slippers, butterflies, and pink/green. She wanted something fun and whimsical but with some classical elements. I had sooo much fun making this one! It's white chocolate sour cream cake with vanilla buttercream and mmf/fondant/buttercream accents.
Made this for a Rehearsal Dinner based on the Groom's favorite thing...college football! The Bride is a Nole and the groom is a gator. Chocolate cake, vanilla buttercream and fondant/gumpaste/buttercream decorations. I also made cupcakes to match with fondant footballs. This cake concept was my friend's idea but inspired by several different similar themed cakes on cc and flickr. Blessings.

Chocolate Dairy free/Allergen free cake with dairy free chocolate buttercream. "Devils Food" Cake being conquered by a plastic figure of St. Michael. This was a quick cake we did to celebrate my husband's saint day. I learned that if I want it too look its best I need three boxes of GF cake mix...2 was not enough for the tiered look. I used marshmallows as "clouds" since I didn't have any more shortening to make more icing.
For my son's 3rd birthday. Chocolate Gluten and Allergen-Free Cake with Dairy free vanilla buttercream and marshmallow fondant. Shuttle is GF/dairy free cocoa krispy treat covered in mmf. I hand painted the shuttle and detail and did mmf details on the cake. Some of the stars are covered in silver cupcake gems.

Practicing piping skills...still shaky in spots, but I'm improving some! I had planned this design in fondant so executing it with buttercream was challenging. TFL!
White cake with vanilla buttercream. Fondant decorations, RKT bassinettes. Made for a baby shower for twins for a friend who loves giraffes. The invitations had a momma giraffe and two babies on them and the colors were pink, yellow, and green.
This was for our Memorial Weekend trip to the Beach. Coconut Cake carved into pail shape with Pina Colada Buttercream in the pail. Covered in mmf. The castle was chocolate with oreo buttercream and covered in buttercream/raw sugar. I used cookies and meringues to build the little (not so lovely) towers. The crab is fondant with choc. candy eyes. The Pail handle is fondant.
30th Birthday Cake for a friend who loves Piggly Wiggly. Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant shapes. I outlined the fondant base in buttercream and piped the message in buttercream as well. I used neon green to match her Piggly Wiggly shirt! :)

My hubby requested this for his birthday. It is yellow cake with cotton candy buttercream and covered in vanilla buttercream. I sculpted with krispie treat and everything else is fondant or buttercream.
