Hockey Skates Cake
Made this hockey cake for my 9 yr old son's birthday. RKT hockey skates covered in BC and modeling chocolate. First time attempting skates and it was the most stressful cake yet! Had to invovle power tools for this one and some engineering skills. Sakes mounted to "touch" the blades using wooden dowels drilled into the cake board. The GP skate blades wouldn't have been able to support the weight on its own. Finished the cake 5 minutes before the party! Talk about stress! lol

Poinsettia Wedding Cake
Customer asked for a simple wedding cake with Poinsettias... I didn't have time to make them out of gumpaste this time, so silk flowers it was! I think it turned out pretty good, but the stress that came along making that wedding cake was quite high! A lot of pressure with wedding cakes!!!

Cinderella In Pink And Purple!
Birthday cake for a 3 year old little girl who's favorite Disney princess was Cinderella and who's favorites colors were pink and purple! So this is the cake we ended up with! Her face said it all when she saw it which served in reminding me why I love making cakes so much!

50Th Birthday Cake
Fondant with gumpaste mini roses. The top of this cake came from a photo I saw here by Kathyx1. Thank you for the inspiration! This was for my children's caregiver, turning 50. She said it was the fanciest cake she'd ever had! There's a little air bubble under the fondant on the bottom tier that drove me crazy but nobody else seemed to notice... ;o)

Gerber Daisy Wedding Cake
I can finally say I have my first wedding cake under my belt! There's lots of room for improvement, especially with the fondant, but at least it's done and looks just like what the bride had requested. This cake wouldn't have been possible without all you CC forum helpers!!! Thank you so much!

Rummoli
For any "connaisseur" of the Rummoli card game, you will notice that the shape of this cake isn't perfect! I needed to make an octogon out of a hexagon shaped cake pan! It was for about 20 ladies who have been playing Rummoli every couple weeks for the past 52 years! They were having a celebration and reunion to catch up with everyone that's played over the years. They thought it was great.

Scooby Doo
First photo I'm posting on CC, and I know it's nowhere near as perfect as most of the cakes on this site, but I got the inspiration for this cake while browsing for hours on this site. Fondant with fondant accents and chocolate plaque "topper" with edible Scooby attached to it. The little decorative beads are gumballs (thought I'd save some time and make it fun for the kids). Thanks for looking and thanks for all your wonderful ideas!
