Construction theme 2nd birthday cake for Ayden. This 3-tiered cake was covered in fondant. The cake topper was made with a fondant/gumpaste combination. The top and bottom tiers were chocolate cakes filled with raspberry filling. And the middle tier was a buttermilk cake swirled with melted candy bars and filled with chocolate buttercream.
Baby Girl Shower cake with a John Deere theme. Chocolate cake with choc/raspberry filling on bottom tier; candy bar cake with chocolate buttercream for the top tier. I used candy melts and a tractor mold to create the John Deere tractors. The cake topper was a fondant/gumpaste combination.

I made this cake for my girlfriend's boyfriend's surprise birthday party. He loves poker so I went all out with a royal flush hand, poker chips and the cake topper, "All In!" made out of fondant & gumpaste. I covered the 3 tiers in black fondant with a green fondant inlay so that each tier looked like a poker table. He was very surprised!
This cake was decorated for a young man who graduated from Freedom High School in Virginia. School colors are black and gold with an eagle's head as their emblem. The cake is covered in fondant and the stars are gumpaste.

I used the colors of the Mexican Flag for this 30th birthday cake and Cinco de Mayo celebration. The peppers and ribbons were made in fondant -- the "30" was gumpaste numbers painted with green luster dust and then sprinkled with white cake sparkles.
