Jackson's 10Th Birthday Halloween Party
Lucky Jackson turned 10 on October 31st, and had a Halloween-themed party. This cake was a two layer chocolate cake with whipped milk chocolate mint ganache filling containing mint crisp M&Ms and crushed mint Tim Tam Crush cookies! Covered with vanilla buttercream, and fondant Halloween motifs. Non-edible cauldron in centre contains candy worms, and fondant number '10' . Lettering done with Funky Alphabet tappits. 20Th Anniversary - Wedding Cake Revisited
I was asked to decorate this one tier cake in the same style as the original cake 20 years ago (which was 3 tiers) as a surprise to the couple renewing their vows. This included white fondant covering and frilling, white royal icing piped side design and lacework pieces around cake. It was noce having the chance to make 'something old style' for a change! Peter Rabbit Christening Cake
I loved making this cake! This is a caramel/chocolate marble mud cake, covered in chocolate ganache and white fondant, after forming into a 2D Peter Rabbit shape. The rest is hand-painted in the watercolour style of Beatrix Potter. Dark Green ribbon around the base, and fondant carrots and lettering. This cake was for a christening, but would make a nice kid's birthday cake too. Thanks for looking!

Samantha's Design
I did not design this cake, I just had a bride who knew precisely what she wanted. This is a 4 inch choc mud cake with white fondant, a 7 inch cherry ripe choc mud cake with white fondant, and a 10 inch white choc mudcake covered in white chocolate ganache and white chocolate chards. There are two dark chocolate and one white chocolate moulded rose on top, plus a Wilton topper provided by the bride. The bride provided the three ribbons also, which represented the dress colours of each bridesmaid. Thanks for looking!

Madeline's Tropical 14Th Birthday
10 inch round rich chocolate buttercake, plus sandhill also in same chocolate cake. Filling is real chocolate buttercream. Buttercream decoration with fondant accents (including pineapple), fine biscuit crumb 'sand', moulding chocolate palm trunk and gumpaste palm leaves, flowers, shells and lettering. Double decker 9 inch round dark chocolate mud cake with dark chocolate ganache and ivory fondant, plus one 6 inch round tier chocolate hazeknut pound cake, filled with chocolate hazelnut whipped ganache and coated in choc hazelnut ganache and ivory fondant. Turquoise ribbon (which became the inspiration for them colour scheme of the wedding!) and handbeaded trim. Topper is fresh ivory cymbidium orchids. This cake was f or a gorgeous couple who had experienced a whole lot of bad luck leading up to the wedding! Thanks for looking :-)

Leonardo - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
Cake is carved from chocolate mud cake (shell and torso), chocolate buttercake (legs) and my own chocolate rice krispy recipe (head and arms). Entire shape covered in chocolate ganache underneath coloured fondant. Bandana over shoulder strengthened with cellogen (gel) powder. The non-edible parts (katana, holster (on back) and shuriken) are plastic from a non-TMNT Ninja kids play set (if you can believe that!). Loads of fun to make, and a welcome diversion from wedding cakes...thanks for looking!

Mandie's 40Th
Made for a good friend's 40th...50 dark chocolate mud cupckaes, with dark choc ganache and dark choc BC, and 50 white choc mudcakes, with white choc ganache and white choc BC. All topped with a variety of fondant cutout flowers and gold cachous. The top cake is a Baci chocolate cake - my friend's favourite chocolate influenced this cake. Its a dark chocolate mudcake, filled with a chocolate hazelnut ganache/buttercream blended with crushed roasted hazelnuts. It has a layer of the same filling on top, then is topped with a layer of full roasted hazelnuts. All covered in poured dark ganache.
