Dream House

This gingerbread house was inspired by the magical architectural designs of Daniel Merriam (High Altitude, Land’s End, Port of Call) It has a total of 317 hand cut gingerbread pieces, 131 of which are custom drawn templates. The doors and windows are made of painted wafer paper and all architectural details are a combination of gum paste (decorative crown/trim moulding) and royal icing (railings, string work, garden table lace work, beading, garden plants and flowers)

Fairy Lantern

A Nirvana style design, royal icing collars and panels, piped forest on hand-painted wafer paper, filigree and string work. It has a pastillage base and dome and a bas relief fairy with piped wings.
