Bride & Groom Ziplining
The cute groom proposed at the end of a zipline! So she planned this for him as a surprise. It was lots of stress, but fun at the end. I had a hard time making the zipline to hold right. The bride and groom (made of gum paste) were heavy, but it held. They're just too close to the table. Ugh! Oh well! They loved it! Snowflakes are royal icing piped. Thanks for looking!

"patches"
For my daughter's 3rd birthday, we picked her favorite "baby". It was lot of fun to make! I figure if I want to make $20/hour on it, I would have had to charge $180. :) Wow! MMF covers this baby, she's all cake with straw supports. Mane, ears, horns (?), and tags are just fondant. Thanks for looking!

Arrrrg Maitey!
Chocolate MMF wraps around this delish and totally threatening scary pirate ship! Everything is fondant. The sails are paper, because well, it was 5 am. I was tired. It was for my son's 8th birthday, and he helped come up with a lot of the ideas. He wanted a cannon ball shooting from a cannon, a seal, shark fins to look realistic, a window with a jail cell, and the cross swords with "Arrrg" written across it...in blue. Very specific! The kids were soo cute crowding around the cake looking at everything! It was a lot of fun to make, and even more fun to present at the party! More cakes at sweetonyoucakeshop!

Africa!
For a client who's been to Africa a few times. Everything on the cake is from their pictures. The Safari tents are up high so no animals or bugs can get in. MMF on cake, gum paste decor. It was a lot of fun to make! The animals were really hard, but I learned from them. The fire is fruit leather and the rocks are raisinets! Thanks for looking!

Ann
Gum paste roses, took me a few hours and MMF iced cake. I discovered meringue butter cream with this cake and I'm not sure I'll ever go back! It is such a dream to ice with!! The roses are supposed to be almost hot pink, but the gum paste would NOT take color!!! It showed up later in some roses that sat covered, does anyone know what went wrong? I used paste to color them. Thanks for looking!
